CHRIS MURPHY

Taking the role of Director of Operations in January of 2024, Chris is all set to dive into the Sharks’ vibrant world. Wilmington stole Chris’s heart in 2020, and despite Covid-induced delays, work drew him back permanently in 2021, cementing his love for the city.

With a background spanning 23 years in the Hospitality industry, Chris stands as a seasoned professional, drawing inspiration from peers he has worked alongside across the country in the live event sector.

Expect to spot Chris at Sharks games, eager to absorb the electric atmosphere and engage with the community. When not at the ballpark, Chris, alongside his partner Brae, enjoys the company of their 11 animals, delving into the Rico Brogna Podcast to keep up with his NY Mets from afar and working on projects at their new home.

Chris’s commitment to top-tier operations and passion for fostering community connections promise to take the Sharks’ experience to unprecedented levels.
