Bio

The 2022 season marks Cheatwood’s first season as a Sharks assistant coach. He is a native of Richmond, Indiana and formerly pitched collegiately at Marshall University and Lipscomb University.  He graduated from Marshall University with a bachelor’s in Sport Management and is currently earning a master’s certificate in Business Leadership at Lipscomb University.  John was recognized with the C-USA’s Commissioner Honor as well as was an Academic All-American.
