Wilmington’s Epley To Replace Thomasville’s Forsythe On American All-Star Team Print E-mail

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Coastal Plain League announced today that Wilmington’s Kolby Epley, a freshman from College of Charleston, will be replacing fellow catcher Blake Forsythe of Thomasville and Tennessee on the American All-Star Team due to an injury.

Epley is currently batting .271 through 36 games played. He features 32 hits, including seven doubles and two triples, while scoring 17 runs and driving in 11 RBIs. He also has 43 total bases to go with a .364 slugging percentage, a .353 on-base percentage and 14 walks.
 
Epley is a native of Yadkinville, N.C.
