It's safe to say that the theme for the current Sharks offseason can be summed up in one word: change. The roster, coaching staff, and the front office have all undergone changes on the wholesale side. Now, for the first time in five years the Sharks will be rolling out a new logo for 2008.
To coincide with the new logo, the Web site is also going through an upgrading process to simplify navigation, allowing fans to easily find the information they need. Additionally, the new site will incorporate features that enhance the fan experience by allowing them to show their Sharks pride with downloadable computer desktop backgrounds to correspond with a fan photos section so people all over the world can see the Sharks experience through the fans’ very own eyes. Much to the delight of our young fan base, the Sharks mascot “Sharky” will continue to be seen at every home game and at special events around the city of Wilmington. The new logo and updated Web site reflects the Sharks’ dedication to a re-energized and professional approach to bringing a fun and exciting brand of baseball to the fans. Not only does the new image reflect the positive and successful product on the field, it also ensures that fans will have a fan- and family-friendly atmosphere when they watch games at Buck Hardee Field for this season and many seasons to come.
