For just the second time this season the Sharks fell at the hands of the division rival Redwolves Friday. Wilmington gets a chance at redemption tonight down south in Florence. After breaking a six game skid earlier this week, the Sharks have dropped their last three headed into the Saturday night face off from American Legion Field. Still leading the season series 3-2, the Sharks will look to secure a winning record against this divisional foe. Adam Schrader(SW-Minnesota State) will be on the hill in Florence tonight. Easton, Minnesota's own will be making his sixth start of the season with a 1-3 record. The right hander has held opponents to a .214 batting average while posting a 3.68 ERA in his previous five starts. Schrader is 0-1 with five innings pitched and five runs allowed against Florence this season.Wilmington will have an off day Sunday, and then be back on the road in South Carolina, taking on the Columbia Blowfish to finish up the first half. The Sharks next home game will be another "Two for Tuesday" against the Columbia Blowfish. The game starts at 7 p.m. with the gates opening at 6 p.m. Enjoy two for one tickets as well as two for one hot dogs at the "Shark Tank" all night long. The Wilmington Sharks are members of the summer collegiate Coastal Plain League, the nation’s hottest summer collegiate baseball league. In 2008 the Sharks drew more than 50,000 fans to the “Shark Tank” for an average of 1,650 per game.
