On Thursday night the Sharks rallied for runs in the 8th and in the 9th for a 2-1 victory over the Durham Americans.  With the win the Sharks moved to 10-10 in the second half and inched closer to clinching a spot in the Playoffs.

     Ronald Hill, UNC-Wilmington, returned from the disabled list in style throwing a complete game.  Hill allowed only one run and 6 hits while striking out 9 without issuing a walk.

     Kenny Smith, UNC-Wilmington, led the Sharks offensively with a pair of hits.  Smith scored the tying run in the bottom of the 8th and then in the bottom of the 9th with the bases loaded and one out he drove in the game winning run.
