The Wilmington Sharks dropped their second strait game on Tuesday night to fall to 2-2. Following a brief rain delay the Florence Red Wolves were able to put together some timely hitting and strong pitching to leave Buck Hardee Field a 5-2 winner. Following the loss the Sharks are now sitting in third place in the Coastal Plain South Division. The team will enjoy an off day on Wednesday and then start a two game set against arch rival and division leader, The Fayettville Swampdogs.
Thursday night is our "Party in the Park" so come out early and enjoy $1.00 draft beer and sodas. Gates will open 1 hour earlier than normal at 5:00p.m. to celebrate the Surf 98.3 Traveling Thirsty Thursday's.
