| Sharks Seeking Families to Host Players |

The Wilmington Sharks are seeking host families for the 2009 summer season. Host families are local residents that provide housing for Sharks players during the summer months; providing a room or personal space and one meal per day for a player. In return, the families will receive free season tickets to the Sharks games. For more information on becoming a host family, call (910)343.5621. The Wilmington Sharks are members of the summer collegiate Coastal Plain League, the nation’s hottest summer collegiate baseball league. In 2008 the Sharks drew more than 50,000 fans to the “Shark Tank” for an average of 1,650 per game.
