Sharks Handle Blowfish 6-3 |

Wilmington, NC- The Sharks put on a solid showing in front of the season's largest crowd while beating the visiting Columbia Blowfish 6-3. Bryant Gaines and Michael Rudman combined to scatter 9 hits, while striking out 9 and walking only two. Offensively the Sharks were led by leadoff hitter Grayson Evans, who was 3 for 4, and Nate Recknagel who was 2 for 4. Rand Baughman and Reed Kreiser also chipped in with 2 RBI's apiece.
The Sharks are back home tonight against the Florence Redwolves at 7:00 PM. Wilmington's "Hiro of the Week" Eric McGough will get the start for the Sharks.
