Sharks Drop Both Ends Of A Double Header At Columbia |

Columbia, SC- A lack of offense spoiled two strong pitching performances by Bryant Gaines and Eric McGough as the Sharks dropped two games at division rival Columbia.
In game 1, starter Bryant Gaines held the Blowfish down through 4 innings until Justin Greene's 2 run home run in the fifth that proved to be the difference in the 3-2 game. The Sharks threatened in the top of the last inning but stranded runners on 2nd and 3rd.
In game 2, the Sharks' bats were held silent in the rain shortened game.
The Sharks are set to take on the Martinsville Mustangs in Martinsville, VA on Saturday. Hiro of the Week, Cody Eppley, will take the mound for the Sharks.
