Hampton, Va- Behind a strong pitching performance by Bryant Gaines, the Sharks fell 1-0 to the Peninsula Pilots.  Rand Smith and Jamie Ray each collected to hits.  The Pilots picked up a the game winning run in the 6th inning on a mishandled Eddie Van Es bunt.

 The Sharks are back in action for a double header at Florence on Friday night.
