The Sharks dropped another to their division rival Swampdogs 6-2.  Early on it appeared as though the Sharks offensive struggles would continue until a two out rally in the sixth when Jamie Ray launched a solo home run to left.  Stephen Batts then followed up with a single to right only to be followed by Ryan Hamme who doubled to the left-center gap, scoring Batts.

"I feel confident that our guys turned a corner tonight, they showed me they have the 'want-to' to do what it takes to win," said Sharks head coach Andrew Wright. "We were faced with some situations where the ball just didn't bounce our way, but our guys showed a lot of character by not letting it affect their effort."

The Sharks are back in action Monday night at New Bern to face the River Rats.
