Today, Sharks General Manager Curt VanDerzee released a new Wilmington
Sharks Logo. "The new logo will be a big part of the 2003 season. We
hope for a good response from the community, and look forward to seeing
the new logo around town, said VanDerzee. "Design of the new logo has
been a long and arduous process, but in the end we are extremely happy
with the results." The Sharks will have a brand new website in February
that will display the many different aspects of the new logo. The new
ebsite will also have the 2003 schedule, roster, upcoming events, an
alumni page, and a secure site to purchase souvenirs and ticket online.
