The Wilmington Sharks have teamed up with ProBuild on Kerr Avenue to bring numerous improvements to the ballpark this season.
ProBuild is the nation’s largest supplier of building materials to professional builders, contractors and project oriented consumers. Although ProBuild is a new force in the professional building industry, they have a long history of success in every region of the country. The organization began in 1997 when Fidelity Capital, which invests private equity on behalf of Fidelity Investments, acquired the Strober Organization, a leading supplier of building materials to professional builders and contractors in the Northeast.
“At ProBuild our goal is to be the #1 choice for all building supplies for builders,” said Ronnie Huneycutt General Manager of ProBuild of Wilmington, N.C.
ProBuild supplied the Wilmington Sharks with new additions to the facilities at Buck Hardee Field. The Souvenir Shack now has a front door to allow easier access into the shop. A new stage was also created for the post game concerts throughout the summer.
“I appreciate and have enjoyed helping the Wilmington Sharks get ready for this 2008 season by furnishing the building supplies. ProBuild is glad to be part of this community,” added Huneycutt.
Today, ProBuild continues its aggressive growth strategy, aligning with top professional building dealers to expand the company’s national footprint and diversify its product and services offerings. ProBuild currently controls:
• 500 locations in 40 states
• 400+ lumberyards
• 40+ truss plants
• 30+ millwork shops
• 10+ wall panel plants
• 60+ installed sales markets
ProBuild has two separate locations in Wilmington; one which is located on Kerr Avenue and the other on Emerson Street.
