After a staggering return from the All-Star break with a double header loss, the Sharks head south of the border today.

The Shark's former opening day starter will look to have a bounce back game from injury and along with a new streak of extra inning games, a model of Shark consistency extended his own streak.

Baseball is like life, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, and sometimes you lose twice in one night. While we can't promise a guide to life, your guide to Sharks baseball is just a click away.

Last Game Synopsis: It was a rough night out at the “Shark
Tank.” Though Wilmington took a 4-1 lead into the ninth
inning of the first end of a double header, they watched
that lead evaporate, and wouldn’t be on top the rest of the
night falling 5-4 in ten innings an 3-2 in eight innings.
Starters Daniel Cropper and Chris Kennedy both pitched well
enough to win though neither figured in the decisions.

Streaking Bonnie: With a hit in both ends of last night’s
double header Jesse Bosnik extended his hitting streak to
eight games. He has racked up 13 hits over the eight game
span, and moved to third place on the league’s hit leader
board with 55 and he looks to extend his streak against the
Blowfish tonight. On the season the lefty out of St.
Bonaventure is hitting .405 against the squad from the
Capitol City.

Extra Woe: As if losing both games of a double header wasn’t
bad enough, the two extra inning losses only served as a
harsh reminder of the Sharks struggles this season. The two
last night made 10 total extra inning contests on the year
with a record of 3-7. Four different times this season the
Sharks have played back to back extended contests and have
lost all but one of their seven home extra inning games.

South by Southwest: Adam Schrader out of Southwest Minnesota
state will make his first regular season start since June
27th. After a trip down south Schrader will put his 5.45
ERA in 31.1 innings up against the Blowfish line-up.
Schrader struggled in his last two starts, due in part to
shoulder stiffness that would back him out of the rotation.
On the season the righty has given up 19 earned runs while
striking out 25.

Ten to Play: My how a baseball season flies. Including
tonight’s contest the Sharks have just ten more games left
on the regular season schedule. That includes six more home
contests and even a double header against these Blowfish on
the last day of the season.
