Miss USA, Wilmington’s own Kristen Dalton graced the Shark Tank with a visit at the Shark’s home opener Thursday night.

Dalton stole the spotlight for just a moment as she met with fans players, coaches and of course Sharky before the game. It truly was a moment to remember, followed by a memorable Sharks 6-4 win.

She has been highly involved with North Carolina Special Olympics as well as with the USO as an Ambassador for the entire state of North Carolina.

The Sharks play the Blowfish again Friday, this time in Columbia, but will be home Wednesday night against the Fayetteville Swampdogs. The game starts at 7:05, stick around after the game for a fireworks extravaganza.

The Wilmington Sharks are members of the summer collegiate Coastal Plain League, the nation’s hottest summer collegiate baseball league.
