Edenton, NC- The Sharks pounded out 16 hits while Seth Laughter threw 7 innings in a 10-4 rout over the Edenton Steamers.
"I am very pleased with our approach," said Sharks Head Coach Andrew Wright. "We had fallen on some hard times offensively of late and for our guys to say 'enough is enough' shows a lot of character. I am not saying we are where we need to be, but tonight was definitely a step in the right direction."
Wilmington native Stephen Batts and University of Michigan newcomer, Nate Recknagel, provided some late fireworks with back to back homeruns in the ninth.
