The two Nebraska Cornhuskers take a few moments out of their busy schedule to answer some questions. Let's take a look at some of their personal experiences. Jesus You never leave home without… clothes Best thing you got for free? A baseball glove Have you ever cried at a movie? Yes, Titanic, but I was very young! In 10 years where do you want to be? Either in the Major Leagues or a doctor What sort of interest do you tend to gravitate towards on your off time? I like fishing, working out, and playing ping pong. What is the difference in playing for Nebraska or the Sharks, in terms of level of play? People at Nebraska are a lot more experienced, everyone is kind of on the same level here. What do you like best about pitching? I like being in control of the game. Is the transition from Nebraska to the Sharks, with all new teammates as tough as it can seem? No not at all, we all get along. What is your favorite pitch to throw and why? Change-ups because it makes the hitters look bad. How do you get mentally prepared before each game? I listen to the same songs over and over. How do you feel about throwing to wooden bats as oppose to metal bats? I am a huge fan; it makes hitters strengths and weaknesses more apparent.

Talking/texting on the phone, listening to music and of course baseball What is the difference in playing for Nebraska or the Sharks, in terms of level of play? The Sharks have a way more laid back approach than the baseball in Nebraska. Is the transition from Nebraska to the Sharks, with all new teammates as tough as it can seem? Not at all, we all get along very well. How do you mentally recover after making an error? I usually kick a bunch of dirt around and talk into my glove.
What is the craziest thing that has ever happened to you during a game? I was back peddling and my shoelace got caught in the spikes of my cleats. |
