Wilmington, NC- UNC right-handed pitcher, Bryant Gaines, threw a complete game, 4 hitter as the Sharks slipped past the Outer Banks Daredevils, Thursday night.  The Sharks lone run was scored Stephen Batts scored from second base on a Jamie Ray infield hit with two outs.

 The Sharks, who remain in second place in the South Division in the second half, will travel to New Bern Friday night to take on the River Rats.  UNC left-hander Matt Cox will get the start for the Sharks.
