chalk.JPGhorton.JPGFormer Wilmington Sharks, Brad Chalk of Clemson University and Josh Horton of UNC-Chapel Hill, were selected in the 2007 First Year Player Draft.

Chalk ('05), a centerfielder, was chosen 87th overall by the San Diego Padres.  During his stint with the Sharks in 2005, he hit .283 in 35 games, helping the Sharks to an 18-10 first half finish. 

Horton ('05), a shortstop, was chosen 90th overall by the Oakland Athletics.  Horton was a teammate of Chalk's during the 2005 season, where he hit .258 in 26 games.
