Eppley Fires Complete Game; Sharks Beat River Rats 4-2 |

Wilmington, NC- Cody Eppley threw a complete game, scattering 6 hits while striking out 8 and walking two, en route to a 4-2 victory over the New Bern River Rats. Rand Smith and Stephen Batts both collected two hits, while Ryan Hamme drove in two runs.
"I am proud of our approach tonight," said Sharks head coach Andrew Wright. "We did everything we needed to win from an offensive standpoint and Cody was efficient with his pitches which allowed him to start and finish the game for us."
The Sharks are travelling to Wilson on Sunday to take on the Tobs for a 6:05 start. Newcomer, Mike Powers, from the University of Michigan will get the start for the Sharks.
