Wilmington native Stephen Batts' 3rd inning 3 run blast proved to be all the Sharks needed as Wilmington beat the Generals 3-2. Kevin Light went 5 complete to earn the win, while David Wagner and Ryan Hamme shut the door on Petersburg. The Sharks are back in action Thursday against Peninsula. Game time is set for 7:00. UNC righthanded pitcher Bryant Gaines will make his third start for the Sharks. |
