There will be two games of baseball at the "Shark Tank" Thursday night, in order to make up a rain out of two weeks ago. The Sharks will take on the Fayetteville SwampDogs in two seven inning games starting at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 22nd. Gates will open up at 5 p.m. on another Thirsty Thursday presented by Front Street Brewery. Enjoy dollar beers and dollar soft drinks all night long. A week of action continues Saturday night with the final Fireworks Extravaganza of the year. After a 7 p.m. game with the SwampDogs fans are invited to stick around and enjoy an explosive show in the skies over the "Shark Tank." The Wilmington Sharks are members of the summer collegiate Coastal Plain League, the nation’s hottest summer collegiate baseball league. In 2008 the Sharks drew more than 50,000 fans to the “Shark Tank” for an average of 1,650 per game.
