This is the second time Casey has thrown at least nine innings. D.J. Nordquist(Southern Polytechnic) kept things scoreless in the 11th and 12th to pick up his first win on the season. Though struggling to start anything offensively, Trevor Willis(Iowa) had one of his most productive nights at the plate with a single and a double, though the Sharks could not bring him home. In a rough no decision, Redwolves starter Brad Raj matched Casey for nine. The righty threw his own full game scoreless striking out eight without walking a single batter. The Sharks record rolls even at 1-1 on the first half. Wilmington will be back at the "Shark Tank" Friday July 3rd to take on these same Florence Redwolves. Stick around after the game for an Independence Day fireworks celebration. Gates open at 6 p.m. the game starts at 7 p.m. The Wilmington Sharks are members of the summer collegiate Coastal Plain League, the nation’s hottest summer collegiate baseball league. In 2008 the Sharks drew more than 50,000 fans to the “Shark Tank” for an average of 1,650 per game.
