The Wilmington Sharks of the Coastal Plain League (CPL) announced they have signed pitchers Corey Carver, Joe Wagstaff, Logan Self and catcher Ben Fish all from the University of Campbell.

Batts' 3 Run Homer Lifts Sharks Past Generals

Wilmington native Stephen Batts' 3rd inning 3 run blast proved to be all the Sharks needed as Wilmington beat the Generals 3-2. Kevin Light went 5 complete to earn the win, while David Wagner and Ryan Hamme shut the door on Petersburg.

The Sharks are back in action Thursday against Peninsula. Game time is set for 7:00. UNC righthanded pitcher Bryant Gaines will make his third start for the Sharks.
