The Wilmington Sharks are gearing up for another great season and organizing our host families is top priority in getting ready. We want to invite you to come out and enjoy an evening of food, fellowship, and information. It is a time to come and hear about the rewarding opportunity of housing one of these top athletes for the 2012 summer season. For those who have done it before it is a chance to reconnect and share with others what a wonderful experience it is to be a part of the Sharks organization and to provide a “home away from home” for the players. We want this to be the best season yet, and it starts with you! Finding families who love baseball and want to share the excitement of watching “their” players in action is what makes this program as successful as it is. Though it may seem like a lot to open your home to a stranger, these players become part of your family and leave behind a lot of great memories. Please come out and join us! We will have information on the upcoming season, the players, and the process of “hosting”! If you know any families whom you think might be interested, feel free to invite them to come and hear about it. The more we spread the word about how much fun it is to be a part of the “Shark Experience”, the better it will be. We look forward to seeing you at Fat Tony’s! |
